Pinpointing Life!

In reply to an excellent philosophical and scientific article posted in Scientific American:

Even though I have thought a lot about this topic but I never reached the amount of scientific knowledge you are offering here. Moreover, while reading this article, I felt that you took the effort on my behalf with your deep analysis to offer it in a ready readable material; as a finished result.

Personally, I mix the 'scientific reasoning and the concrete reality' with 'faith and the the unseen reality'. It's more than 'just' atoms.

Amazing universe, right?

To tell you the truth; I sometimes think that all of our universe is part of something much bigger. Think of the dishes and objects that you put on a transparent tablecloth. when you move the tablecloth, all the objects move, and for an observer standing on the transparent tablecloth the effect is inexplicable unless he fills the gaps in his knowledge with mysterious factors.


Or think about a 4th dimension (-or 5th in case you consider time the 4th!) -Can you imagine it? I barely can simulate it or project the idea to a comprehensible image in my perceived world. what if this 4th dimension is connecting 2 very distant points of our perceived universe?


Our explanation of the universe is open up to all possibilities.. it's not wrong to discover and experiment, at the opposite, it's a fantastic human characteristic, but we should realize and confess how much we are negligible in term of power and knowledge.

But as the bible tell us we are most precious in God's view to the extent he deals with us on the basis of a father to children relationship.
We are one of the most precious things in existence.

By the way; the above is a prayer glorifying God and confessing his love to us and my love to him. Really! most of the times I pray like this!

Design of the Penguins

The below text was sent to the Scientific American Magazine in reply to an article published in December 2005 under the monthly ANTIGRAVITY column. In this article Mr Mirsky tries to prove that life as we know it is not the result of a design but came to what it is now by evolution.

Dear Editors,

I have comments on Mr Mirsky's ANTIGRAVITY -December 2005 issue.

I tried to guess whether Mr Mirsky Intelligently designed his article to raise doubts about his own suggestions, thus making the readers realize that there is really intelligent design that brought life to what it is now!

He wanted to demonstrate by contradiction that, for example, if the penguins are designed the way they are now then their egg shell should be more thick to allow it to rest on ice without being damaged! Thus the penguins will not need to carry it! Well, in my opinion the penguin do what it's doing simply because the design is really intelligent! If the egg shell was more thick, then it will be impossible for the small penguin to get out of it!

Also we must realize that the term "Intelligent Design" indicates that there is a designer. Religions call him God. He has great purposes. He is not only a designer, he also gives life. Holding that egg for that long time is an act of great love and sacrifice. Life without consciousness is without value. it's void.

For me the intelligent design is far more intelligent than to be seen directly as people usually expect to see it. The Intelligent design is so intelligent that it uses the evolution itself to design the world. This is God and to this extent his is so mighty.

Nice View !?

In the morning my lovely baby Anastasia woke me up before six o'clock! I hugged her between my arms for 1 hour then I took this picture from my balcony. It starts to be breezy....
I like this view but I think I would like to change it. The view from my wife's home in Russia is much more nice, in my point of view, of course. it's a forest, in summer painted in green and in winter painted with a freeze white and grey.

I was really surprised yesterday when I heard that military operations got back to scene in southern Lebanon. Operations that soon extended to reach the Lebanese capital, Beirut.

Surprised I was, but; also like I was expecting it. There is always this strange feeling of instability and that there is something that is not yet done.

Using my common sense and by carefully listening to the news I am trying to anticipate any bad thing that might happen; an airstrike for example. But most importantly I am praying and counting on God to get us out of this.
